Period problems

Well, I got my first period in December and it stopped within 6 weeks. I then got it again in February and it hasn't stopped since. Is there something wrong with me?

The Young Lovers' Guide replies:

If you mean that you have been bleeding for all that time, then you should go and see a doctor. If you mean that some months the periods have happened and others they have not, then that's normal. It can take quite a while for periods to become regular.

Best wishes and good luck.

Be bold!

But not tacky. Say hi and ask what they're doing this weekend - and have a plan to suggest you think they'll like.

Relax and think: getting to know you. Rather than: getting it
